Challenge: The client wanted to create merchandise that people would actually use—not just keep as a souvenir. The goal was to design a running collection that looked clean and stylish while prioritizing comfort, lightweight materials, and functionality. Every item had to enhance the running experience. My Role: I managed the entire merchandise production process from scratch, overseeing every stage of the project: Developed the overall concept and product lineup, sourced and communicated with suppliers, selected materials and printing techniques, reviewed and tested samples, managed production timelines, performed quality control, organized logistics and delivery. From the initial idea to the final products, I was responsible for the complete production cycle. Deliverables: Performance T-Shirts Lightweight, breathable running shirts designed for maximum comfort during training and race days. The minimal graphic design keeps them versatile while reinforcing the brand identity. Soft Flask Instead of a traditional hard bottle, we chose a soft flask to improve the running experience. Benefits: Compresses as you drink, reducing volume Lightweight and easy to carry Doesn't bounce or make noise while running Fits comfortably in running vests, belts, or pockets More ergonomic to hold during long-distance runs Drawstring Bag A clean, minimalist drawstring bag featuring the event branding. Designed for carrying running gear while remaining practical for everyday use. Result: The final collection combined strong visual branding with real functionality. Rather than producing promotional items, we created merchandise that runners genuinely enjoy using before, during, and after their workouts. The result is a cohesive collection that reflects both the event's identity and the practical needs of its community.
